Hear my prayer, O LORD;
let my cry for help come to you.

Do not hide your face from me
when I am in distress.
Turn your ear to me;

Just by reading Psalm 37, you'll find all of the characteristics of a righteous. As the Lord develops our character, take note of which character building test you may be experiencing in this point of your life. The bible is filled with promises and rewards for those whom God declares is righteous.
